Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig

Throughout history, humanity has devised three notable ways to carry essential gear: on the back, over the shoulder, or around the hips. Backpacks allow for carrying the heaviest loads, but shoulder bags offer quicker access to contents, while belt systems combine the best of both worlds. For long hikes over uneven terrain, belt carrying is the wisest solution. It doesn't interfere with body temperature regulation, evenly distributes weight, spares the spine, and keeps all items within reach.

The Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig can be worn as a standalone item or with functional suspenders. The design is easily adjustable in all ranges. The Foxtrot includes a main compartment with sewn-in open pockets for water bottles, a partial belt at the sides with MOLLE/PALS attachment points for modular pouches (medical kit, knife pouch, cargo bag, etc.). ALICE and other pouches based on 50mm tape bands can also be attached. The main compartment includes two zippered pockets, one with a Velcro closure on the front. Additional inserts compatible with the Versatile Insert System can be added inside the main compartment. A rolled-up poncho or thin mat can be secured under the elastic above the pocket or beneath the compression straps at the bottom. The suspenders are easily adjustable with Velcro at the back, stabilizing the load and distributing it across the wearer's frame. The Foxtrot Mk2 is an ideal solution for Nordic Walking-style hikes.
