The JPX6 Compact magazine is equipped with 4 doses of PIEXOL® irritant gel, a highly concentrated mixture of Oleoresin Capsicum (cayenne pepper extract) with a potency of 400,000 SHU on the Scoville scale. The PIEXOL® gel penetrates mucous membranes easily and cannot be blocked by glasses, masks, or clothing, providing immediate immobilization for 45-60 minutes. Effects include intense burning of the eyes, nose, and skin, tearing, respiratory difficulties, and temporary vision loss, without causing permanent damage. A red color marking helps law enforcement identify the aggressor.
