Externally it features a Dupont Zytel Polymer shell, with recessed panels for better grip, and unique magazine well guides that reduce snagging when the magazine is drawn from and reinserted into pouches.

Externally, it features a Dupont Zytel Polymer shell with recessed panels for better grip, and exclusive magazine well guides that reduce snagging when the magazine is extracted and reinserted into pouches.
The bullet window with the fake 556 rounds is not just for show. When the magazine is fully loaded, an orange follower appears at the base of the transparent bullet window. This is an extraordinary design feature unique to the EPM as it allows the end user to take any EPM magazine and immediately know if the magazine is full and ready for use. It also serves as a visual indicator for the user to know when to stop loading the magazine.
Another notable feature of the magazine is the baseplate. The bottom of the baseplate has been designed with an angled surface and a rubber coating on the underside. This combination of features allows the end user to rest the weapon on any flat shooting platform and have a larger contact surface for better traction and stability. The angled surface is minimized to the point of being functional, yet still comfortable to hold when extracted from pouches, and it does not interfere with closing the flaps on closed top magazine pouches. The baseplate is also designed with a ribbed protrusion that facilitates easier magazine extraction from deep magazine pouches and can assist the end user in properly seating the magazine.
This medium-capacity AEG magazine holds 150 rounds with the same reliability that all PTS magazines have long been famous for. It is compatible with TM Version 2-based AEGs, KWA, PTS PDR-C, PTS ERG series, PTS Masada, G&P, VFC 416, CA 416, and AMOEBA AM variants.
