These tests ensure protection against 3.6 mm, 325 mg projectiles fired at 215 m/s (774 km/h), with even higher resistance demonstrated in laboratory testing.

The V50 ballistic limit, a key parameter of STANAG 2920, defines the velocity at which a projectile has a 50% chance of penetrating the lens.
