The blade, crafted from Böhler N690 steel, is heat-treated to a hardness of 58 HRC. Measuring 118 mm (4.64 inches) in length and 4 mm (0.16 inches) in thickness, it features a flat grind and a spear point profile. A full-length fuller contributes to its weight reduction, along with a ¾-length false edge. The classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black finish complements the blade.
Enhanced with fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN), the handle showcases iconic Extrema Ratio texturing for improved grip security. It's affixed to the tang with a pass-through screw. The handle transitions fluidly to a broad ring on the rear, facilitating martial techniques and providing a robust hold. A durable metal 'skull crusher' extension is featured.
Remarkably lightweight at 87g (3.1 oz), this knife is meticulously designed for professional use. Emphasis has been placed on portability, accessibility, and swift extraction when needed. A quick-release security mechanism attaches the knife to its high-strength nylon sheath, which can be reversed for left-handed users. The sheath is M.O.L.L.E.-compatible with adjustable loops for versatile fastening.
The sheath features a conical insert for easy reinsertion of the knife, while a simple press of the trigger safety ensures rapid and instinctive extraction.
