Extrema Ratio Sethlans - Fixed Blade Work Knife for Survival and Backup

The Extrema Ratio Sethlans is a fixed blade work knife designed to tackle a wide range of situations. It is suitable for survival, bushcraft, prepping, and also serves as a reliable backup blade.

The Sethlans was developed in collaboration with Daniele Dal Canto, a Master Advanced Instructor from the Italian Federation of Survival Sport and Experimentation (F.I.S.S.S.).

The Sethlans is available in two versions, each featuring a different type of steel.

The Stone Washed version utilizes heat-treated Böhler N690 steel with a hardness of 58 HRC. This steel was chosen for its proven reliability over the past 20 years, owing to its resistance to oxidation and excellent edge retention.

The Black version utilizes D2 steel, which is heat-treated and cryogenically treated to achieve a hardness of 60 HRC. It offers high sharpening capability even with makeshift tools. To enhance hardness and durability, the blade is coated with the new teflon-based product "EXP DARK" offered by Extrema Ratio.

The knife comes with G10 handle scales featuring the characteristic ergonomic design of Extrema Ratio grips. These scales can be removed, revealing the skeletonized structure of the knife for maximum lightweight performance with minimal thickness. For those who enjoy extreme customization, the full-tang construction allows for the handle to be wrapped with paracord.

The Kydex sheath is lightweight and minimalist. It is removable and can be adapted for both left-handed and right-handed users. The optional belt clip allows for vertical or horizontal carry, making the sheath much more versatile compared to the fabric version. It also includes a mini pouch with M.O.L.L.E. system, containing a dual-sided sharpening stone and a Firesteel for fire ignition.
