The SELVANS was developed as a cooperation between Extrema Ratio and the Master Instructor Daniele Dal Canto of F.I.S.S.S. (the Italian Survival Federation). It’s a modification of the ONTOS – a military survival knife – designed to enhance its effectiveness as a civilian tool. A longer handle and a heavier blade enable enhanced chopping and cutting action.

SELVANS is the result of collaboration between Extrema Ratio and Master Advanced instructor Daniele Dal Canto. This tool is a modification of the ONTOS military survival knife, designed to accentuate and maximize its performance as a tool. The handle has been extended, and the blade weighted to enhance the effectiveness of cutting strokes. The survival kit (not included and available separately) has been optimized and includes a whistle, chain saw, water purification tablets, compass, brass wire, flintstone, torch, 2.5-meter paracord, and sharpener. Available in SELVANS DESERT NO KIT and SELVANS GREEN NO KIT versions.
