Fitting the UMAREX/VFC MP7 AEG gen1/gen2 bushing kit requires thorough cleaning of the bushing seats prior to installation.
Technical specifications of the 8.00mm stainless steel bushings:
Nominal diameter – 8.00mm,
Outside diameter of rebate – 9.00mm,
Gear Shaft Hole Diameter – 3.00mm,
Total bushing height – 2.05mm.
To mount the TopMax bushings we recommend the use of our specific fixing glue TMCLLB, or alternatively, Loctite 496, and we strongly RECOMMEND against forcing the bushings in their seats or other tricks (see thermal expansion and similar processes), for avoid damage/breakage to the GearBox.
