the M40A5 7.62mm shotgun entered service in 2009, gradually replacing the A3 version

the butt pad and cheek pad can be adjusted exactly like the original weapon
the newly developed mechanics allows to position the loader in the right position with an automatic safety device if the loader is not inserted
