Elements of the Specna Arms CORE™ light machine guns have been made from polymer to reduce weight and make the pistol easier to handle. The polymer parts include: the receiver, handguard, dust cover, front sight with a base, magazine and pistol grip.

Metal parts include remaining elements such as the outer barrel, magazine well, stock, or flash hider. The Specna Arms light machine gun has several steel parts: a bipod, an external barrel lock, a butt rest, a trigger guard, a carrying handle, as well as all pins and assembly elements.

The ESA™ quick-change spring system implemented in machine gun replicas allows quick and easy adaptation of the replica's power to expected conditions on the playing field without the need for access to a workshop or special toolset. The process of replacing the spring takes literally seconds - all that is required is to pull out a single pin, pull the stock retainer away and pull the spring guide together with the spring through the opening in the gearbox frame.

The replica is powered by a full-size, metal, heavy-duty M249 gearbox, which is characterized by its high durability and good reliability in stock. The mechanism is set up for further fine-tuning and ready for the stress of providing covering fire. Inside are the following components:

- M120 main spring
- 8mm ball bearings
- spring guide with ball bearings
- set of steel gears
- metal rotary Hop-Up chamber

The set includes a polymer cassette magazine with a capacity of 2500 pellets which allows you to cover the enemy with a hail of bullets. The pellets from the magazine are fed automatically thanks to an electric winding mechanism powered by 2 AA batteries (not included in the set).
