Midland presents CT990, the new amateur dual band device that operates on the 144-146 and 430-440MHz frequencies.
CT990 is a high performance portable transceiver, with a high output power of 10W VHF / UHF selectable (10W high,
low 5W).
Its IP67 certification guarantees high reliability, ensuring total protection against dust and immersion
water up to 1m depth for 30 minutes.


CT990 is equipped with the Dead Man or Man Down function,
very useful in case you are alone or isolated. This function monitors
constantly the state of the person wearing the radio and detects one
fall to the ground due to illness or injury: in the event that a
change of position of the radio from vertical to horizontal, CT990
emits an alarm that is sent to all users tuned in on it
frequency.
CT990 also boasts 257 memory channels, a large color LCD display,
a 2800mAh high efficiency Li-Ion battery pack that guarantees one
long range of the radio, the Side Tone that eliminates that annoying rustle
at the end of each transmission, the voice announcement «VOICE» indicating the
selected function and the FM radio.
