The R-6 GTX's LOWA MONOWRAP® frame midsole ensures maximum comfort. It is a three-dimensional midsole design, which was developed by LOWA in 1995. This frame wraps the foot comfortably and supports it on uneven ground. The sole of models equipped with SUPPORT FRAME is slightly raised.

Available in many versions thanks to direct injection, it is possible to create very different variations of the sole. The various properties of the materials used make it possible to expand and diversify the areas of use of the shoes.

Thanks to the two-zone lacing, it is possible to adjust the laces of the front of the foot and the upper of the R-6 GTX separately. In this way it is possible to adapt the shoe to the specific anatomy of the foot and modify the lacing up and down.

The seams and overlaps of the R-6 GTX are minimized by using very large pieces of material for the upper, thus reducing pressure points and increasing comfort.
